There will be an International Day of Peace Global Meditation this Sunday, September 21st, 2014. Location? Everywhere.
On their Facebook page, they’re asking people to do one of four things.
1. Meditate at 12pm in your time zone and gather your communities to do the same, maybe in a park or individually.
2. Join the meditation “for a global synchronized moment” at 12pm Pacific time USA.
3. Join the meditation at 7pm UTC time.
4. All of the above.
Just meditate all damn day or whenever you can. That’s my takeaway from it.
The hashtag for the event appears to be #peaceday.
You may want to Google this to see if there is an event in your area. Otherwise, it doesn’t matter. Just plug in and meditate.
There is one such event in Arcadia Park in Phoenix, Arizona. From the looks of it, considering there are tens of thousands of people clicking “going” on the Facebook page, there is a good chance that there is an event going on that day in a city near you.
That’s the word right now. Stay tuned for more meditation instruction at The Deeper Meditation Blog.
