If you are the type of person who does any reading about personal improvement, then you have surely read numerous articles about stress.

Like it or not, stress seems to be a way of life in America, a tightly woven part of our culture: Work stress, home stress, juggling too many things stress, my parents are aging stress, I’m not a good enough parent stress, the house is a mess stress, I’m getting fat stress, we can’t pay our bills stress, my boss is a jerk stress, raising teenagers stress, the in-laws are visiting stress. The list goes on and on and on.

There is a lot of readily available, good advice on “managing” or “dealing with” stress. Most of it focuses on the things over which we have control. Proper breathing and posture, exercising, eating right, talking with a trusted friend or counselor, and finding a hobby are some of the more common pieces of advice. Another one is to “try not worry about the things you can’t control.”

Have you ever tried this? There is no magic switch to stop worrying. Worry levels are unique to each individual. They are a body’s physiological response to external stimuli. Can worry be managed? Yes. Is there a switch to shut it off? No.

So what then is the alternative for not only managing or dealing with, but for actually fixing the external things that add to or magnify stress? First, you must understand the concept of “clutter.”

The term “clutter” is frequently used in advertising. In order to have an effective advertising campaign, marketers must find a way to ensure that their message breaks through the clutter of all the other advertising out there. We are inundated with levels and levels advertising clutter.

It consumes our television and radio programming. It follows and even customizes itself to us on the Internet. It’s in our grocery flyers based on personal data collected from our frequent shopper cards. It’s in our mailboxes, bathroom stalls and highways. It’s on the telephone while we’re on hold and on our taxis and subways when we travel. There is no escaping advertising clutter.

Similarly, there is no escaping something called electromagnetic field – or EMF - clutter. Make no mistake. The EMF emissions are everywhere. In fact, scientists have estimated that the average daily exposure to EMF radiation is 100 million times higher than it was in previous generations.

The use of electric grids, cellular and cordless phones, Wi-Fi technology, electronic equipment, microwaves, satellite communication systems, fluorescent lighting, etc. has grown exponentially over the past couple of decades. The effects of the waves being transmitted back and forth between these devices are beginning to show in our bodies, specifically in our levels of stress.

Imagine your stress level walking barefoot on a sandy beach at dusk. Hopefully, it would be minimal. Now, imagine your stress level walking barefoot on that same beach at 3:00 p.m. on a sunny day with temperatures over 90 degrees. The daytime walk is a little more uncomfortable, yes? The sand is hot. You have to move a little quicker. You have a bit of anxiety over reaching your destination quickly. Finally, imagine that instead of walking on sand, you are forced to walk barefoot on hot coals. Obviously, your stress level goes off the chart (unless, of course, you have mastered the art of hot coal-walking!).

EMFs are our hot coals, every day, with no escape. Certain types of stress, anxiety and even depression have been linked to exposure to EMFs, not to mention the growing bodies of research on the connections between EMFs and tumors, cancer, autism, problems hearing and seeing, and a host of other maladies.

So, how does one decrease stress by combating these EMFs and help turn the hot coals into cool, sandy beaches? By avoiding them, perhaps? Unfortunately, that is not a realistic solution in our society. However, there is a quickly emerging technological and holistic trend called “EMF Resonance Shielding” that is yielding dramatic results.

EMF shields work on a cellular level in conjunction with the human biofield, which is the energy field that extends beyond the skin and is comprised of biophotons. One single photon is said to carry more than four megabytes of information and the biofield of the body is made up of billions of photons. The shielding devices are encoded with over 200 resonant frequencies to work with the human biofield to balance the central nervous system, glands, organs and all body systems at a cellular level against the effects of EMFs.

The stress-causing clutter – specifically, the EMFs – is external and something over which we “should not worry because we can’t control.” We indeed can manage and perhaps even protect our health through the introduction of EMF Resonance Shielding. Shields are available for personal protection in the form of attractive jewelry. They can also protect a home or business by simply plugging a unit into an outlet, where they work off of the electrical circuit.

In the end, one does not have to give up cell phones, laptops and plasma televisions in order to better manage stress and protect oneself against the other negative effects of EMF clutter. With the advent of EMF Resonance Shielding, you can stop worrying about some of the things you seemingly can’t control. You can have your beach and walk on it, too!
