LET’S DEFINE STRESS
First off, stress is nothing outside yourself. Don't blame someone else or a "stressful situation." There is no such thing. How you perceive a situation, your thoughts, is what determines whether something is stressful or not. Nothing else. Sorry. So when we look at the word acronymically, it says it all. I feel it is one of the best definitions of Stress I’ve ever come across.
S. = situation___
T. = too___
R. = ridiculous___
E. = everybody___
S. = stops___
S. = striving
YOU CAN’T CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF and
“The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth”.
It’s only stressful because we keep thinking about it all the time…that’s all.
Think about this one. ANGER is only one short letter from DANGER and Anger is one more letter than RAGE and Rage is only one letter more than AGE! Anger WILL age you!

1. The company we keep = we cannot NOT be influenced by the people we associate with. It’s absolutely impossible not to be influenced by them. Just their auras influence the way we think. If people are dumping a lot of their negativity on you, don’t be too timid with letting them know you don’t want that stuff going on in your mind. Notice how easy it is to pick up accents when we go to difference parts of the country, and especially when we go overseas for a month of so.
2. What we read = If you want to live the Long Sweet Life, it’s of paramount importance that you read and read great books and articles. It has a tremendous ability to ward off the dreaded mind disease = Alzheimer’s.
3. What we listen to = Listening to self development audio tapes/CD’s in your car if you drive 10,000 miles will give you the same as a 1 year university degree and 20,000 miles = 2 years and 40,000 miles = college degree. I listen to great things EVERY DAY as all that negative stuff is all around us 24/7. It’s our choice what we listen to.
4. What we SPEAK = The Words we use. Learning one new word each week and using it effectively is an outstanding way to build your character and thought. Notice the most favored class in any society is the educated class.
5. And of course, the Food WE EAT, which is what the weekly recipe section of our e-zine is all about.
