#2 = What People Always Want = Mango Man Dr. Wayne Pickering's STRESS Articles

The top of the day to you …

Here is what we are going to cover in this stress article for you:

WHAT DO PEOPLE WANT MOST OF THE TIME?

OK, let’s get on a roll with the latest stress article.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL PEOPLE WANT MOST OF THE TIME ANY WAY?

I am discovering that many people want, above all else, to live life fully. But sometimes the past prohibits our living and enjoying life to the utmost in the present.

One of my great friends and fellow author and speaker, Willie Jolley, gave me this line several years ago and I think it’s a good fit here.

“The Past should be a Point of Reference and not a Place of Residence!”

I have a sign in my bathroom that I read at least twice a day

The Past is Past

Enjoy the Present

Look forward to the future

There’s a little story where a school teacher entered his room a few minutes early and noticed a meal worm laboriously crawling along the floor. It had somehow been injured. The back part of the worm was dead and dried up, but still attached to the front living part by just a thin thread.

As the teacher studied the strange sight of the poor worm pulling its dead half across the floor, a little girl ran in and noticed it there. Picking it up, she said, "Oh, Oscar, when are you going to lose that dead part so you can really live?"

What a marvelous question for all of us! When are we going to lose that dead part so we can really live? When are we going to let go of past pain so we can live fully? When are we going to drop the baggage of needless guilt so we can experience life? When are we going to let go of that past resentment so we can know peace?

Have you been dragging something that is dead and gone around with you? Are you ready to "lose that dead part so you can really live"?

SOOOO, What we Think about EXPANDS = If we think of our bills all the time then guess what? We will have more bills. But if we think about ways of generating money then guess what? We will have more ways of earning money. It’s that simple.

Here’s a little something for you to think about. Sit in a quiet room and rest for a while and think about wanting to get real sick with cancer or the like. Do that for an hour each day for just 21 days. Watch what happens. You are probably thinking, “Are you crazy? I’d probably get sick and why in the world would I want to do that?

Well HELLO… OK, sit in that same room or wherever you feel most relaxed and think about what you really want and watch what happens. You WILL be so glad you did that.

So, What we Think about EXPANDS

Also think about this, THOUGHT IS CREATIVE

A car was just a thought at one time. Your home was just a thought at one time. The light bulb was just a thought at one time. The telephone, the Airplane and I could go on and on about that.

I’ve heard it said that it’s never too late to have a happy childhood.

Since Sooooooooo much of our stress today is centered around money, I invite you to go to www.RomanceOfFinance.com site and check it out and ask yourself this question. Is the money you earn worth the price you pay?

All my very best to you
